I am Amara Chapman the photographer and owner of Family Magic Photography. Photography is a passion of mine and has been for years.Just within this last year I have decided to turn that side hobby and passion into a business. I have poured myself into learning more about this art and business. From making this site to driving the area looking for good locations. I eat, sleep, and breathe this journey and I can’t wait to capture your magic moments.
How We Got Our Name

What’s in a Name?
Dream it.
When I told my husband Kyle I was thinking of starting this business and I needed name ideas he didn’t hesitate. Family Magic Photography was the first suggestion he gave. Kyle’s late father had been in a band called Family Magic that was a highlight of both of their lives. Music is one of Kyle’s passions just as it was his fathers. At first, I hesitated to use the name because I wanted to be respectful to his family, their loss and their attachment to it. After a bit of thought, I came to the decision to use Kyle and his father’s passion to name mine. I would honor the name and pay tribute to where it came from .. and Family Magic Photography was born.
The Tribute

Although I never met him. He raised wonderful children, brought music to life, taught Kyle to be the man his is & inspired us to create something BIG after him and his band photographed below
